Polymico was engaged as a trusted partner to define and execute the project requirements, scope, and Market fulfillment.  

Being awarded the ownership of the solution architecture, Polymico led the design, development, and implementation phases. We delivered a functional prototype and established a test setup using in-stock components, followed by rigorous verification activities ahead of the 0-series production

Acting as both project manager and technical lead, we coordinated internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of prototype design and testing. Our agile approach enabled rapid prototyping and validation, leveraging existing stock for both the prototype and test setup. 

The solution integrated a scalable IoT ecosystem, encompassing hardware, data transport, backend infrastructure, and monitoring services. By combining existing products with innovative technology, we enhanced the customer’s market positioning and competitive advantage.

Comprehensive Test and Validation for Customer Design

 

Polymico was trusted to define, execute, and validate tests on a customer design prior to end-user handover.

Due to our market expertise and build-from-stock capability, we designed and delivered a custom test harness, complete with software and reporting tools, to ensure efficient implementation at the end-user site. Given that certain product elements would become inaccessible after installation, the test method developped needed to be absolutly reliable. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and documentation for test and installation delivered solved the critical issues for the customer.

Our scope included:

  • Developing the test plan and activities
  • Supplying the test harness
  • Executing tests and supporting FAT
  • Providing detailed reporting

Upon project completion, the comprehensive documentation package, included: 

  • Validation plan and reports 
  • Component, cable, and wiring markings 
  • Electrical schematics 
  • Configuration files and user guides
